Michael Curtin

With a diverse range of qualifications and experience, combined with a supportive team, Michael is positioned well to provide professional, personal advice and services, taking on a holistic approach to businesses, organisations and individuals who seek a little more than the traditional accounting/tax advice.

Michael has been involved in various sectors of the Mackay community. After finishing high school, Michael trained as a Fitter and Turner, working for ten years in the mining and farming industries. Having a strong interest in agriculture, Michael then studied an Associate Diploma in Applied Science (Agronomy). Michael then completed a Bachelor of Business (CQU) and worked for 6 years in the public accounting sector and at Canegrowers, Mackay. In 2004, Michael established his own practice, MP Curtin & Co.

Myra Robertson

Myra has over 22 years experience in accounting and taxation and has been with MP Curtin & Co since 2010. Myra is also very well experienced with running family businesses, having run a family transport business for 8 years and now runs a family cattle property with husband Steve.

Tracey Steindl

Tracey has over 20 years experience in accounting and taxation and has worked at MP Curtin & Co since 2015. Tracey is married with 2 young children.

Dianne Vassallo

Certified Practising Accountant

Bachelor of Business (Accounting)
Dianne was raised on a local family sugar cane farm and now along with her husband Rodney operates their own cane farm. Dianne worked in public practice for over 8 years before leaving to raise a family and joined the MP Curtin team in 2013.

Maria Axiak

Office Administrator

Maria has over 25 years experience in bookkeeping, wages, BAS, debtors and creditors and has worked in accountancy firms for 15 years. Maria is married with 3 children and operates a cane farm with husband Anthony.

Linda Muscat

Bookkeeper

Linda grew up on a family cane farm and is married with 3 children. Linda has over 10 years experience in the accounting industry, mostly with bookkeeping, taxation and administration. Linda has been with MP Curtin & Co since 2012.
